Introducing Not 97's latest project: Breakfast Sessions. Every episode we'll visit a different artist at their home, cook their favorite breakfast, learn about who they are, and enjoy a live recording in their home studio.
On our latest episode of Breakfast Session we visit singer, producer, and multi-instrumentalist Jachary. The Brooklyn-based artist welcomes into LoveLove Studio—his basement recording space—to perform a stripped-down, acoustic version of an unreleased song, share the lastest ideas in his phone's Notes app, and discuss redefining the role he plays as Jachary the solo project and Jachary the band.
Along with his roomates and some close friends we fire up the grill for a backyard barbecue complete with hamburgers, hotdogs, and homemade dickslam hot sauce.
On episode two of Not 97's Breakfast Sessions we visit Queens-bred soul singer duendita at her Brooklyn apartment. duendita brings us to Jen's Roti Shop, her favorite local roti spot. We talk about her connection to Berlin and the evolution of her sound through a group of artists and creatives called Baketown Collective. And duendita performs an intimate rendition of "Pray," live from her bedroom.
duendita's debut record "direct line to My Creator" is available on all platforms.
For our debut episode we visit Brooklyn-based singer/songwriter and producer Rosehardt. Rosehardt cooks us pancakes while discussing his move from San Francisco to New York, his experience as an actor (catch him in Choir Boy on Broadway now), and his latest album Songs In The Keys of Solitude. Rosehardt perform a new song for us called "Amnesia" live in his home studio.
