For a year and a half I’ve been saying the “This is not a podcast, this is not a radio show, this is Not 97.” Well, this is not a zine. This is not any one thing. This is a place of music discovery. This is a space to share and support talented, ambitious, young musicians who may not have the means or resources to rightfully support themselves or their art. This is about being inspired by those around you. This is about community. 

Not A Zine is a collection of stories, conversations, creative expressions, and testimonies. 

I can’t and I don’t do Not 97 alone. So let me thank everyone who has contributed their time, energy, knowledge, and talent to this project — from our weekly guests, to the graphic designers who’ve made art for each episode, to the musicians whose music we’ve featured, to this publication’s contributors, and to you.
